Glory Communications, Inc. is bringing together the people of Columbia, SC and surrounding cities for the 2016 Family Fest, presented by Classic Ford/Lincoln of Columbia! Sponsored by Well Care, WACH Fox 57, McDonald's, Palmetto Health, Pepsi, Urban League of Columbia, John Campbell of Combine Insurance, Javis Tax Services & Brookland Baptist Church at Word of God Church International, Columbia SC. Family Fest serves as the platform for the Future Leader Scholarship presentations. The Future Leader Scholarship has been a community initiative since 1998 and has awarded more than $181,000 in scholarships to 113 rising college freshman.
The Future Leader Scholarship promotes the importance of higher education, while celebrating hard working students and providing financial assistance where there is a need. Family Fest has a star studded line-up comprised of National Gospel Artists, as well as community and local church choirs. What better way to celebrate Memorial Day then with family and friends at South Carolina's longest running free gospel music concert and Memorial Day Tribute (Sponsored by Lexington Medical Center) to fallen veterans. From face painting, goodie bags, Safe ID printing, and much, much, more, youth have a place of their own in Kidz Korner. Our vendors have plenty to offer from exhibits, sponsor displays, merchandise, barbeque, and other refreshments guaranteed to satisfy your palate.
